The Otjikoto gold project in Namibia continues to surprise, with more gold zones being discovered by owner Teal Exploration and Mining. Inferred gold resources at the site have increased from 1.3 million ounces to 1.76 million, following the identification of a further 460,000 ounces of the precious metal.

Gold production at B2Gold’s Otjikoto mine for the first quarter of 2016 was 35 703 ounces against a budget of 35 653 ounces, exceeding budget by 50 ounces and 4 569 ounces higher than the same period of the previous year.
