So, here it is--this is the thread to come to regarding the "Crushing" difficulty in Uncharted 3. I'm currently playing through and haven't found it that much more difficult until the ballroom fight in Chapter 14. This fight takes place after going through the revolving door on the cruise ship.

It's possible that the problem is with data that has been installed on the PS3's hard drive, rather than the disc. Use the PS3's Game Data Utility to delete files for Uncharted in the Game Data folder (the Save Data folder will contain your game saves so don't delete anything in that).

I could get through, I dunno, probably more than half of Uncharted 2 on crushing without dying once, in comparison. Talbot is easier (and way more fun) than Lazarevic, but Lazarevic is also really simple, and since I beat Uncharted 2 two times before I had a general strategy set up that led to success.
